Barcelona: The Video

We made a video. I’m… over the moon about it. I love it so much!! It’s funny, it’s pretty, it’s exactly what our trip was and who we are while traveling (or working, or hanging out). And we worked really hard at making this video awesome. Kamel did all the editing, we both did the shooting, and I had the vision and finessing. This whole process made me incredibly grateful that I married my creative equal.

Ok, enough blabbering… I just really want to share this with you. And I hope you like it!!! If you need a refresher on what went down, check out The Story. (Eeee!!! Video!!)

  1. Great video – looks like a fantastic trip. Have you guys read The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon? I completely forgot to recommend it before you went, but it is a wonderful novel set in Barcelona – great for both Barca-philes and bibliophiles.

    1. Please please please remember to add this to the comments when I do another book round up. I’m right in the middle of my current stack of books, so I won’t remember but if you put it in there I totally will. 🙂

  2. “You’re dancing. You’re in Spain. You’re dancing, you’re feeling it, you’re loving it.” Great direction. I love it.

  3. Ahhhh omg i love this so hard!!! Its so you guys! You were cracking me up while you were giggling at the art. And I love how you got Kamels Menu pose, how he strokes his chin while he reads and decides what he wants to eat, lol. You guys totally just showed the world what we love about you!

    1. I think she said in her Barcelona: The Story post that she had a breakdown because they were so anal about being quiet in the museum. 🙂

    2. I was absolutely laughing. Like a kid in church. One picture just tickled my funny bone and then because you aren’t SUPPOSED to laugh it just kept going and going even after I had walked for away. 🙂

  4. I want to give you guys a giant hug and kiss! Spain! The frolicking! The “I love you, this is the coolest trip ever” eyes (don’t think I didn’t catch that)! You giggle fit! The joy and wonder!

I’m using this as further fodder that a European long weekend is totally a thing.

  5. Dora says:
