Barcelona, The Photo Evidence

First the photos and then the stories. I had a hell of a time narrowing down the photos so I wouldn’t overwhelm the blog and lose your interest. I had to figure out which photos were just for us – you know, the ones where you say “go over there and stand next to that thing and smile” – and the ones that were lame even though I loved them, and then the ones that go here. It took 2 evenings, and hours and hours of Kamel scrutinizing color balance. “But what was Barcelona, Lauren?” he kept asking me. It wasn’t Mexico City and it wasn’t Cancun. 1. I love market pictures, graffiti pictures (I have SO many from Athens!) and narrow alleyways. So, I obviously love all of these! I can’t wait to go on a trip.

  2. I laughed so hard when I saw the creeper in the background through the bus window.

I’m blown away by how awesome your trip looks like it was – beautiful architecture, the market looks fantastically fun, and you and Kamel both look so HAPPY.

  3. Ahhhhhhhh these make my heart ache SO MUCH. I want to travel so so so so badly and this is not helping! These pics are amazing. And that stained glass! OH MY. <3

  4. Ohhh hello Barcelona!! I have SO many questions now! What beautiful sites that were seen πŸ™‚ I cant wait to see MORE and to hear about it and pick your brains. Welcome home.

  5. woooooooooooooow wooooooooooooooow woooooooooooooow!! those were the first three words out of my mouth!!

second string of words: the colors! the churches! the FRUIT! the sun! and when I saw that one of you with your arms on the railings and in the black top I said “hey girl hey!”. Outloud.

ps: that orange/red wrap-top thingy = the best thing ever!

I love Kamel for focusing on the “what was Barcelona?”. Well done Kamel!

  6. We are going there!!! This time in 10 weeks we will have been to Barcelona! (As well as Edinburgh, Paris, the Swiss Alps and Avignon)
